The department conducts audits of treasury management in order to safeguard public resources and improve service delivery. The specific functions include audits of revenue and cash management systems (Treasury Single Account), audits on the management of Government bank account and conduct payroll and IFMIS audits in order provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and enhance Government’s decision-making process.
