The Citizens’ Budget is a simplified version of the National Budget which makes it easy for all citizens to understand and monitor how the Government plans to raise and spends money in a particular year. It also gives chance to the citizens to understand the budget and the processes involved in making the budget. This simplified version of the National Budget is also translated in the major local languages.
